House of Prayer Update: November 2007

Holding onto the Vision:

Our vision for a 'House of Prayer & Training Centre for all Nations' is alive and well!
The planned acquisition of a property on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, Australia has not come about at this point.

God has spoken to us very clearly about this property. We believe that it is reserved for His Kingdom and through His words directly to us and from others outside the Lifemessenger group, we know that it will be released to us in His timing.

Through prayer, in late January 2005, it became clear that we must proceed, and with considerable urgency, into the vision despite not having the facility. God has shown us that the facility must come out of a functioning vision rather than the vision out of the facility. This means that the vision for prayer and training must already be happening before the release of the property. Otherwise, the property could become the 'head', and the vision the 'tail'.

Therefore, we continue to pursue this vision and are pleased to report that during the last thirty-four months:

• 100 leaders and influencers are relating through Leadershift
• 11 Leadershift Days have been held and an informal movement growing
• 4 Reformational Think-Tanks held
• 11 Tabernacle of David schools/seminars/prophetic worship days have been convened
• numerous conferences and church services have been addressed
• 'The Vine' , a prototype 'simple' church movement, is growing and,
• an estimated 40-50,000 people are being reached through the internet each month.

We give the glory to God for the productivity, influence, and effectiveness that has come so supernaturally out of a time of complete devastation. Only four years ago David and Jenny Orton were still waiting in impossible circumstances for the vision to come to pass.
